Saudi Arabia is running major projects in improving public services and infrastructure. The most brilliant of all is the Riyadh Metro project, as part of the public transportation improvement.
True there are plenty of new detours, but they never stop traffic; always a steady flow. Slow, but continuous. I can’t recall ever seeing such useful signs, leaving no doubt unanswered. Huge efforts, making us eager to see the results.
I’ve been thinking of document what I see everywhere, the cement blocks, signs, and detours. I thought of grandchildren decades from now, writing school papers about our time now. Having photos of this crucial project is useful. It would even be beautiful if I could convey how proud I am of it, to whoever browsing them.
