Home made Aspergillus Flavus The wash basins near the guest room are always washed and sanitized with disinfectants & bleach; it even smells like a medical clinic. This made them a candidate for my daughter's experiment: Placed a petri dish near the wash basin for three hours. Closed the dish and sealed it. Placed in an incubator for one week. Sectioned a part of it, stained, and examined under a microscope. Due to time constrains, only the green part was examined, and it was a fungus named Aspergillus Flavus. This has really gotten us thinking, what should one do to keep their homes clean? Photo by: Fatma Alrefaa Waleed AlzuhairFebruary 26, 2012 Facebook0 Twitter LinkedIn0 Reddit Tumblr 0 Likes
